Collaboration between the Council and OSI AF on joint project-funding will continue |

Today Chairman of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azay Guliyev met with Executive Director of Open Society Institute – Assistance Foundation Farda Asadov in the office of the Council.
Noting the significance of holding joint call for proposals in 2009 associated with development of civil society in Azerbaijan and other related activities, the need was expressed for continuing joint activities in 2010. Issues of drafting and amending laws on NGO activities and attracting additional financial sources for supporting joint projects were also discussed at the meeting. Heads of the working groups on cooperation between two organizations were instructed to develop proposals on future joint activity and bring it up for the discussion.
