Representatives of the Swedish International Development Agency visited the Council |

Today Chairman Azay Guliyev met with the representatives of the Swedish International Development Agency – Country Manager Klaus Rasmussen, Country Advisor Jessica Pellrud and – Vise-Council of the Swedish Consulate in Baku Bahram Atabeyli.
Azay Guliyev provided the quests with the valuable information on the purpose of establishment of the Council, its activities, call for proposals announced by the Council during the last two years and the outcomes of the project-funding.
The representatives gave information about the projects implemented in Azerbaijan funded by the Swedish International Development Agency. Responding to the proposal of the SIDA representatives on funding regional projects in the South Caucasus supporting conflict-settlement in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Chairman of the Council noted that such projects could be supported in case if they could really support liberation of the Azerbaijani territories, but not just for the sake of dialogue.
Then the discussion was followed by proposals on cooperation in the future.
